| Happy Halloween! And now it’s cold. Down to +3F yesterday. I was able to get through a couple walks with Stanley in the woods. We took our time. Mostly. Hurrying is what does me in. I have to move at a measured pace with rest stops so I don’t have to take big drags of air, which then cause my lungs to seize up. Stanley has a limit when it’s this cold out. So we’ll be going on the short route through the woods, maybe a couple hundred yards as opposed to the long, half mile jaunt.  You’ll have to excuse the picture: I was shivering while taking it barehanded. Stanley geared up for a quick business hike.  There’s Stanley snoozing at Uncle Alex’s house because we’re getting new carpet. They prepped the floor by tearing out the old carpet and installing new tack strips so it was good that Stanley wasn’t home for a day and a half. My undying gratitude to Alex for taking care of the little man for his triumphant return to new Berber carpet, optimized for both color and texture for Stanley. Keep reading, please!
