My insider team finally had a chance to read the completed story. Here’s a couple of their comments: “Wow! Edge of your seat action start to finish.”“Another superb Battleship Leviathan. I think the fans will really enjoy it.” . Delivery remains Sep 27 since we already set up a bunch of paid promotions to get the word out about this series. Stanley has had some great interactions lately. The horses are spending a lot of time in the pasture behind our house. We caught them resting after a day of grazing. This was the best picture I could get. Stanley wasn’t enticed to join them in sleeping on the ground. Okay. I’m lying. Stanley was perfectly happy catching some zzzs in the driveway under a bright fall sun. It’s that time of year in the far north where everything starts to slow down. The leaves have started to change (you can see a little of that in the pic with the horses). It’s getting dark at night. The rainy season is almost over. Temps are still warm for us at 50F to 70F.  And in the woods, it is coming alive! The squirrel population has blossomed. Those little buggers are less than amused by our intrusions. They toss little pinecone things at us when we walk by. Stanley got fed up and dumped a load at the bottom of the biggest squirrel tree.  And he got to see a moose in the woods. It was an early walk, about five in the morning and I couldn’t see what he was looking at. When it came into focus, a cow moose was looking back at him from a distance of about fifty feet. They watched each other for a moment until I called Stanley away. He made no move to chase after the moose. He is perfectly happy just watching them. And he was so happy to have seen the moose. The ermine has moved on. I want to think that he moved and not that the Great Horned Owl caught him… Until next week. Peace, fellow humans. |
