Greetings from the Sub-Arctic

It’s still cold here. It’s been two weeks since our high temperatures have been above 0F… Going for a walk nowadays is a trial. Stanley needs his coat and boots on every time. At these temperatures, he can handle about thirty seconds without his gear before it starts hurting his feet. I know this because sometimes his boots will pop off. I have to run him down and put them back on so he can continue since he’ll just stand there with his paw in the air.

Poor Stanley. Here he is geared up with his collar light, readying himself for our thrice daily braving of the extreme temps. The first walk is in the dark on the neighborhood road so he needs his own light. No one ever drives by at that ungodly hour but just in case. I like seeing where he is at all times.

Keep reading to the bottom because there’s a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card (gave away a $100 gift card for Thanksgiving to Zacc Pelter – congratulations!) just to thank you for reading my newsletter :).

A Fatal Bragg – Ian Bragg 4 is available now

Marines are being murdered…

…and it takes someone outside the government to fix the problem.

image

It’s a race against the clock to dismantle a group that’s been in place for years. They’re well-funded, and armed with weapons they shouldn’t have. Authorities are stymied. Ian and Jenny Bragg are not so constrained.

It’s supposed to be a single target. What if the target may not be the target at all, but a pipeline to those who need to be in Ian Bragg’s sights? In an organization like the Peace Archive, contracts tend to take on a life of their own. When it comes to imparting justice, the operators become the last line of defense with only one chance to get it right.

Crimes as heinous as this rarely happen in picturesque rural idylls.

Heretic (Zenophobia #1)

Only 99 cents

An anthropomorphic space opera: Think Island of Dr. Moreau meets Indiana Jones in space. A ragtag band of enemies on a search for the Truth. It’s already on sale for good people to dive in early. Get it on pre-order for only 99 cents, and it’ll be waiting for you at midnight Nov 28, ready for Cyber Monday. You can’t pre-order this right now as there’s a technical issue, and if you did pre-order it, that has been canceled by Amazon (although it was my fault). In any case, I’m working to get this resolved before Monday.
