Greetings from the Sub-Arctic!

Despite his nose and steely-eyed glare
There was no trace; only despair…

 He was actively looking for the moose. He found the tracks and trailed them backward to the edge of the brush. He smelled the moose but couldn’t see it. He wanted to go into the brush. I took him the other way and in the end, he still didn’t see the moose. He’s a city dog. He tries his best to track, but it may not be his thing.

Poor Stanley! He tries so hard. He’s a good boy:)

The Expanding Universe 7 – Pre-order is up because DAMN! This is shaping up to be one fine collection with a critical mass of all-star authors. My story, A Deadly Game, is a nice piece of work (I hope you think so, too).

Zenophobia – the trilogy. Anthropomorphic space opera: Think Island of Dr. Moreau in space without the horror, just the search for truth. 

Glory – An epic military science fiction tale, Book 1. We’ll get that published this year. Books 2 and 3 will probably push to next year, but did I tell you that it’s epic? One old ship, barely out of mothballs, little better than scrap, challenged with nothing less than defeating a superior alien enemy. But it carries a secret the aliens don’t know and may not be ready for. Only one shot to save humanity. 

Not Enough Book #1, Echo Breaker, a coming of age fantasy. This balances well for readers of all ages, but especially for those who are growing up and wondering what their place is. A little something for every reader. Both books #1 and  #2 are written and off to the editor. Here’s the final cover for Book #1. I’m 58 and I thought this was a great story (I’m sure I”m biased but a good story is a good story).

I have a short story in a Baen anthology coming this fall – a little Sci-Fi Noir. 

And Ian Bragg #4, A Fatal Bragg is being written right now. I’m already past the first 25,000 words. It’s rolling right along. Shooting for 70k-80k words total, and then I’ll probably publish in November once the audiobook is ready and the German translation is underway.
