Fall is clinging although almost all the trees have shed. It is fairly dank with sounds are seemingly amplified because there's nothing to muffle them. You can see our house from the road. We need snow to brighten up the world (and block the view).

Why yes, those are lip prints on Stanley's head. We had visitors over, and Stanley got kissed on. He was the best boy. I ran a weekend retreat for authors. Twenty-five of them came with a third of them joining us from Alaska proper. The others came from outside (it's what Alaskans call the lower 48).

The horses moved close when they saw me and Stanley. They were casual about it. After a few minutes, Stanley got bored and we continued on our walk.

Glory 2 - Humanity Strikes Back! I keep forgetting to mention it. This book is almost finished. Ira is doing a great job maintaining the frenetic pace that drives this series.
